One anaesthetist, one psychiatrist and 125 GPs have started working in Australia via the IMG fast track, according to AHPRA and the Medical Board of Australia.
Another 98 GPs and 28 other specialists had applied and were still waiting, had withdrawn their applications or had failed to meet the administrative criteria, the medical board said.
