20 years of vaccinations may need repeating due to cold chain breaks at GP practice

Patients of a Tasmanian GP practice may have been given ineffective vaccines from 2003 to 2023, the state Department of Health has warned.

The state’s director of public health, Dr Mark Veitch, said on Wednesday an investigation into Dodges Ferry Medical found no evidence to show the GP practice had followed cold chain guidelines.
