An impressive number of non-GP specialists have been honoured for their contributions to medicine and society in the King’s Birthday Honours today.

They include respiratory experts Professor Helen Reddel and Professor Jo Douglass, pathologists Dr Belinda Clarke and Dr Geoffrey Higgins.
