Researchers find they decrease workloads, cut stress and increase knowledge

Adding a pharmacist to the general practice staff could reduce GP burnout and make patients more compliant, US research suggests.

After interviewing 16 GPs, physician assistants and nurse practitioners, researchers from the University of Minnesota identified seven good reasons for practices to include comprehensive medication management (CMM) by pharmacists.
