The Endometriosis Management Plan for General Practice is designed to be used with MBS chronic disease items.
A new national endometriosis management plan has been developed to help doctors deliver better care for women living with the condition.
It is an online template which basically incorporates the Australian Living Evidence Guideline: Endometriosis.
It is meant to be used with chronic disease MBS items for women with suspected or presumed endometriosis.
The hope is that it will allow many women to access evidence-based therapies immediately, rather than waiting for further investigations such as laparoscopies.
