After 30 years in general practice, Dr David Ringelblum argues the deepest rewards in general practice come from being there when families need you most.

Dr David Ringelblum has been a GP to multiple generations of families in Rowville, Victoria for over 30 years. In that time, he has supervised and mentored over 100 GP registrars.

More than 15 years ago, when I served as supervisor liaison officer, I was expected to write a column every month or two for the training provider’s newsletter.
