Close to 1000 patients have now joined a class action against retired cosmetic surgeon Dr Daniel Lanzer and associates, alleging botched results, lasting physical deformities, nerve pain and numbness.

The procedures include liposuction, Brazilian butt lifts, gynaecomastia procedures, tummy tucks, otoplasty, fat transfers and facelifts performed by a number of doctors in Dr Lanzer’s chain of clinics.

in the last month, 13 new patients registered bringing to 972 the number of patients involved in the action, Melbourne-based Maddens Lawyers said.

Dr Lanzer and five associates — Dr Daniel Aronov, Dr Ryan Wells, Dr Daniel Darbyshire, Dr George Wong and Dr Alireza Fallahi — have denied any wrongdoing and plan to defend the lawsuit, ABC News reports.
