AMA says it's reached its federal council gender goal

The gender target was set after a 2018 report revealed only 26% of the AMA's representative positions were filled by women

In 2019, the AMA set a goal for 40% of all representative positions on federal councils and committees to be taken up by women. Another 40% were to be set aside for men, with the remaining positions
