Pharmacy prescribing: The alarming powers to change doctors’ treatment plans

This quote from Dr Evan Ackermann is no doubt true, but he goes on to suggest that doctors should be worried.

As a former chair of the RACGP’s quality and safety committee, he makes clear the powers being given to pharmacists in the North Queensland trial include the ability to unilaterally change doctors’ treatment plans without their consent.
