GPs have been warned not to be fooled by an anti-vaxxer who walked into a clinic posing as a TGA official and demanded the removal of pro-vaccination material.

The man used a hidden camera to film himself approaching reception staff at the Melbourne practice, telling them waiting room posters promoting National Immunisation Program vaccinations constituted illegal advertising.

The resulting video, now posted to YouTube, shows him brandishing a ream of papers with the TGA logo, while claiming to be following up a complaint about the practice.

“My name is Jeff. I am here to inform you that this surgery is in breach of the TGA guidelines,” he tells one receptionist.
