Applications have opened for the 2021 AMA Indigenous Medical Scholarship.

Established in 1994, it is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students who “demonstrate a commitment to both their Indigenous community and medicine”.

The scholarship is valued at $10,000 per year paid for the full course of a medical degree, subject to review at the end of each academic year.

Applicants must also have completed their first year of medicine.
