Applications open for the AMA’s Indigenous Medical Scholarship

Applications have opened for the 2021 AMA Indigenous Medical Scholarship.

Established in 1994, it is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander medical students who “demonstrate a commitment to both their Indigenous community and medicine”.

The scholarship is valued at $10,000 per year paid for the full course of a medical degree, subject to review at the end of each academic year.

Applicants must also have completed their first year of medicine.
