ATAGI backs Pfizer vax for all children 12 and up

ATAGI has recommended vaccinating all children aged 12-15 against COVID-19, declaring the move is needed as schools return to face-to-face learning.
Children aged 12 and older will be eligible from 13 September, says Prime Minister Scott Morrison, who is encouraging parents to get their kids vaccinated in general practice.
The expert group had already recommended vaccination of those aged 12-15 with underlying medical conditions or who are Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders or live in remote communities.
But on Friday it expanded its recommendation to all kids in the age bracket.
