Aussie doctor makes it onto Forbes most influential under 30 list
Psychiatry registrar Dr Skye Kinder, a rural health advocate, has been named by the magazine as one of 30 'trailblazing' young people in Asia.
Dr Skye Kinder has been named one of Forbes magazine’s most influential 30 under 30 in Asia for her “unparalleled determination, hard work and innovation” in the field of social impact.
Dr Kinder is vice-president of Rural Doctors Association of Victoria and a passionate advocate for rural patients.
She was picked out of 2500 nominees to make Forbes’ 2021 list of “trailblazers” – an honour she says is “an exciting surprise”.
“The thing about these recognitions which is really important is the platform they give you to continue your work and put [it] onto a larger scale,” she tells 6minutes.
