Australia bolsters monkeypox treatments as cases escalate overseas

As the UK expands vaccination against monkeypox to combat swiftly rising cases, a leading biosecurity expert has warned Australia must also stop the outbreak from further spread. 

Concern over the worldwide outbreak is growing with the WHO set to announce its decision on whether monkeypox warrants declaration of a global health emergency, its highest level of alert, as cases top 3000 including one death.
