Bake off GP takes a stick to his ‘crippling’ anxiety
It has been a week of conquests for courageous GP and TV contestant Dr Nurman Noor.
Not only has he made the grand final of the Great Australian Bake Off, but he bravely faced down his crippling anxiety on national TV.
Fighting for a place in the final last Thursday, Dr Noor, 35, and three fellow contestants were tasked with creating a biscuit piñata for a ‘showstopper’ challenge.
The Tasmanian GP’s creation featured a biscuit decorated with his smiling face on one side, and a list of his “personal battles” — doubt, worry, body image and self-worth — on the reverse side.
