Beautician who faked it as a doctor fined

A beautician who masqueraded as a doctor and “specialist haematologist” while administering dermal fillers and Botox injections at her clinic has been fined $15,000.
Aliaa Sherif from Melbourne was originally charged with falsely claiming to be a medical practitioner during a period of 13 months.
As well as running the Good Life Anti-Aging clinic, she also gave out medical advice during interviews with the media, provided clients with unapproved antibiotics and used a fake medical registration certificate when trying to establish her business.
On Tuesday, she pleaded guilty at Magistrates’ Court of Victoria to 10 charges relating to breaches of the Health Practitioner Regulation National Law.
