A cosmetic physician who once described himself as the best doctor in Australia has been struck off for at least three years following claims of inappropriate breast and vagina examinations and sexual comments.

The Medical Council of NSW investigated Dr Joseph Georghy following complaints from two patients while he worked as practitioner and owner of North Shore Cosmetic Medical and Dental in North Sydney.

A 53-year-old pancreatic cancer patient â€” who visited the clinic to receive infusions of vitamin C and an antioxidant called glutathione in May 2016 â€” accused Dr Georghy of inappropriate breast and groin examinations.

During these examinations, the patient claimed Dr Georghy flipped her bra and squeezed her breasts without consent, did not allow her to undress in private and grabbed her underpants and jeans in an attempt to pull them down.
