Drug company financing of research is distorting medical evidence, harming patients and wasting money — and it’s time for it to end, according to a group of international researchers. 

Led by Australian campaigner and Bond University Associate Professor Ray Moynihan, the group are spearheading a BMJ campaign to encourage independence between Big Pharma and medical research.
