In 2013, Dr Dominique Lee — then a radiation oncology registrar — was drugged and sexually assaulted by Professor John Kearsley at his home.

Over the following years of PTSD, a criminal trial, career impacts and therapy, she went through feelings of shame, guilt and suicidal ideation.
