RACGP announces sudden departure of its CEO but refuses to explain why
Paul Wappett oversaw the handing back of control of GP training to the college.

The RACGP revealed this morning that its CEO, Paul Wappett, had left the organisation.
AusDoc had been told he was sacked following a recent board meeting.
But in a media briefing, the college said it could not confirm or deny the claim.
“We respect Paul’s privacy and the terms of which this has been dealt with are confidential,” its chair Dr Lara Roeske said.
