Tributes have poured in for the health workers treating victims of last night’s terrorist attack on a Jewish festival at Bondi Beach in Sydney.

Sixteen people have been confirmed dead, including one of the two alleged gunmen. A 10-year-old girl is among the victims.

Forty-two people, including two police officers, were rushed to hospital in the aftermath of the shootings, which took place on the first day of Hanukkah.

The patients are in hospitals across Sydney, including Prince of Wales, St George, Sutherland, Sydney Eye Hospital, St Vincent’s, Royal Prince Alfred, Sydney Children’s Hospital, Royal North Shore and Liverpool.
