One of Australia’s chief paramedics is calling for more defibrillators to be placed at large venues after the original ‘yellow’ Wiggle collapsed at the end of a bushfire benefit concert and had to be resuscitated.

Former Wiggle Greg Page experienced an MI as he walked off the stage at the Castle Hill RSL in Sydney’s north west on Friday night.

The 48-year-old had to be revived and admitted to Westmead Hospital where he underwent stent surgery.

Off-duty nurse Grace Jones — who was in the audience — along with Wiggles drummer Steve Pace and band staff member Kimmy Antonelli were credited with saving Mr Page’s life.
