Attacks on new Medicare items for vitamin B12 and urine tests are driven by “big pathology companies” and “pretty dishonest”, the Minister for Health and Aged Care says.

Following Labor’s election victory, Mark Butler was asked about the Federal Government’s plan to limit Medicare claims for B12 marker quantification to one per patient per year, aligning them with B12 serum tests.
