Cervical campaign savaged after calling for pictures of 'cats that look like your vulva'

The company behind a GP booking app has been slammed on social media after asking UK women to share photos of cats with fur that reflect their vulva’s ‘current look’ as part of a cervical screening campaign.

The myGP app allows patients to book consults, order scripts and check their medical records.

Its campaign — called ‘Bushy, bare or halfway there’ — had been put together after myGP research suggested three in five women using professional waxing services had avoided their screening appointment because they were not
