Is this the perfect job for GPs with preschool-aged children?

A new early learning centre, in the Brisbane suburb of Nundah, is getting ready to roll out a full-time GP service, meaning the commute from daycare to work could be a dream for the centre’s new doctors.

The Habitat Early Learning Centre plans to employ part-time GPs, covering morning and afternoon shifts, providing routine care, developmental check-ups and managing emergencies for the children and their families, and centre staff.

“We are looking for GPs who specialise in paediatrics and women’s health,” says general manager Kerrin Thomas.
