Chris Hemsworth comes to GP clinic’s rescue

Staff members at the Armajun Aboriginal Health Service in NSW were stunned when a truck full of medical equipment turned up courtesy of the Hollywood Thor actor
Chris Hemsworth.

Actor Chris Hemsworth is a true superhero in the eyes of GPs and staff at an Aboriginal health service after he donated a truckload of medical equipment to the cash-strapped clinic.

Hemsworth, who stars as Thor in a series of Hollywood blockbusters, had been making a documentary on the human brain in NSW north western town of Armidale.

After filming wrapped up, he asked one of the crew, ‘Harry’ to find a deserving service who needed the leftover medical equipment.

When Rachael Kliendienst, clinical co-ordinator of Armajun Aboriginal Health Service first heard that someone wanted to see her outside the clinic, she thought she was meeting up with drug rep.
