Christian activists pledge support for GP accused of endorsing death for abortion doctors

The Australian Christian Lobby which backed Israel Folau after he declared unrepentant homosexuals were destined for hell, says it is fighting to clear the name of a GP accused of endorsing the death penalty for doctors providing terminations.
Dr Jereth Kok was suspended nine months ago under the Medical Board of Australia’s emergency powers for undermining public confidence in the medical profession.
The Melbourne GP had made some 30 comments on social media over a period of several years which were “denigrating, demeaning and slurring” to doctors providing terminations and allegedly included calls for them to be subject to capital punishment.
