Controversial cosmetic surgeon says he’ll stop practising

High profile dermatologist Dr Daniel Lanzer has agreed to stop practising in Australia, as an AHPRA investigation continues into “deeply” concerning practices revealed by a media expose into his cosmetic surgery clinics.
AHPRA announced late Friday that Dr Lanzer had given a “legally enforceable” undertaking to the Medical Board of Australia to not practise.
“This precludes him from undertaking all forms of medical practice in Australia,” it said.
Dr Lanzer is a dermatologist who runs a string of cosmetic surgery clinics in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Perth.
