The deaths of four babies at the Adelaide Women’s and Children’s Hospital will be referred to the state coroner for possible further investigation amid promises that “lots of eyes” will look into what went wrong.

SA Premier Steven Marshall says the issues surrounding the lack of a cardiac surgery unit at the hospital are not about funding, but about how to provide the best care to young babies.
