A court has ordered a teenager to continue chemotherapy for Ewing sarcoma despite her belief she has already been cured in a “healing miracle”.

The 17-year-old girl was originally diagnosed with the aggressive cancer in July last year after experiencing left hip pain.

She began chemotherapy a month later in a Sydney hospital.

After four of the 17 scheduled rounds of treatment had been completed, MRI scans showed no apparent signs of the tumour in her hip.
