COVID-19 vaccines to be mandatory for all aged care workers
The RACGP and AMA support the requirements although it is unclear if they will extend to GPs
Aged care workers will have to be vaccinated against COVID-19 as a condition of their employment under a move endorsed by the national cabinet.
The new rule is likely to come into force across Australia from mid September.
