COVID-19 vaccines to be offered to children and all pregnant women

The TGA has approved the use of Pfizer's vaccine for 12 to 15-year-olds

All pregnant women are now eligible for COVID-19 vaccinations under the Federal Government rollout, and children with chronic conditions are expected to follow soon.

The TGA approved Pfizer’s mRNA vaccine for 12 to 15-year-olds this morning.

Minister for Health Greg Hunt has already said children with underlying health conditions (see below) will be prioritised, subject to ATAGI approval.

At the same time, eligibility for COVID-19 vaccines has also been updated to include all pregnant women.
