COVID-19 vax rollout a ‘Dunkirk’ undertaking for Australia, says top doc

GPs are about to be involved in a logistical undertaking of “Dunkirk” proportions as they prepare to vaccinate millions of Australians against COVID-19 over the coming months, says the AMA’s vice president.
“This is on the level of Dunkirk, really, trying to get so many vaccines out, two shots for the majority of the population, as fast as possible,” Dr Chris Moy told ABC News.
The first wave of the program will involve the Pfizer vaccine with administration mainly done through hospitals.
Dr Moy described it as a “nightmare vaccine”.
