‘The govt giveth with one hand and it taketh away’: GPs respond to Medicare’s new $157 care plan items
The Federal Government has finally unveiled its new Medicare rebates for chronic disease care plans:
From July, writing or reviewing a care plan will both attract $156.55, replacing the rebates of $164.35 for a care plan and $82.10 for a review.
The team care arrangement item, worth $130.25, will end.
AusDoc asked GPs at the RACGP Practice Owners Conference in Melbourne this weekend what the revamp will mean for their practice.
