Physicians’ college reveals allegations against its president as members vote on her future

Professor Jennifer Martin is facing a membership vote on whether she should be ousted from her presidency.

Professor Jennifer Martin is facing a vote which could prematurely terminate her presidency of the RACP.

On Friday the college opened voting on the EGM requisition calling for her to be removed as a board director and president.

There are still no clues as to who is behind this requisition or, for that matter, any of the hundred-plus doctors who have signed and thereby triggered the EGM. But the allegations are wide-ranging.

The first refers to her duty to “foster a healthy culture within the board and college as well as maintain board stability”.
