Daily tipple lowers risk of diabetes in women who had GDM

Moderate drinkers have a reduced risk of progressing to type 2 diabetes than teetotallers: study

Among women who have had gestational diabetes, a modest daily tipple may lower their risk of going on to develop type 2 diabetes, a study shows.

These women, who reported drinking between half to one drink a day, faced a 41% decreased risk of developing type 2 diabetes, compared with their teetotal peers.
