GP Dr Jane Bear job-shared with her husband, Dr Dave Hogbin, at the practice where they worked in Newcastle.
A family met with inconceivable tragedy last month when Newcastle GP Dr Dave Hogbin was killed in a crocodile attack in Far North Queensland.
He and his wife, Dr Jane Bear, had three young boys and job-shared their GP work so they could maximise their time together as a family.
