A public hospital doctor who says he’s been administered his own experimental COVID-19 vaccine says he has been threatened with the sack for refusing a TGA-approved shot.

For the past year and a half, Adelaide endocrinologist Professor Nikolai Petrovsky has been developing a two-dose vaccine, COVAX-19, with his biotech company Vaxine.

He claims the recombinant, protein-based, proprietary-adjuvanted vaccine has been rigorously tested in phase I, II and III trials; however, it appears that none of the outcomes have been published.

Professor Petrovsky, who is director of endocrinology at Flinders Medical Centre, is defying the SA Government’s mandate that all health workers must have had at least one dose of an approved COVID-19 vaccine as of last Monday.
