Doctor jailed for six years after ‘entanglement’ with Comanchero bikie gang

A doctor who got “in over his head” after coming into contact with the Comancheros has been imprisoned for supplying garbage bags full of prescription medication to the bikie gang.
Dr John Ullman, who made over $1.5 million from his prescription drug dealing, had been accused of using his Brisbane clinic as a front to illegally sell benzodiazepines and steroids.
The Supreme Court of Queensland was told that he sold so much illegal medication that bikie gang members used to leave his clinic carrying thousands of pills in garbage bags.
“He often charged a consultation fee in addition to his mark-up on the price of the drugs,” Sam Sherrie, the Crown prosecutor said.
