Doctors fight to reverse US vaccine changes by suing RFK Jr
Doctors are suing the Trump administration to reverse its childhood vaccine schedule changes, claiming that Robert F Kennedy Jr broke the law by stacking the committee with anti-vaxxers.
A team of six medical groups and three patients started the lawsuit last year in the US District Court for Massachusetts, expanding it each time Mr Kennedy, the US Health and Human Services Secretary, announced softer vaccine recommendations.
The latest and biggest change, announced this month, ended recommendations for universal childhood vaccination against hepatitis A, hepatitis B, influenza, meningococcal ACWY and rotavirus.
US health insurers still fund these vaccines for parents who want them, the US Government says.
