Doctors given free rooms to protect families from COVID-19

Hospital doctors who want to live separately from their families and flatmates to protect them from COVID-19 will have access to free accommodation, the NSW Government has announced.
And in Victoria, hospital doctors diagnosed with the virus, as well as those who have “unanticipated and unprotected contact” with a suspected case, will be put up in hotels or apartments.
On Tuesday, NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian committed $58 million to fund out-of-home accommodation for doctors, nurses, paramedics and other hospital staff.
She said she realised many doctors were worried about infecting their family, especially older family members.
