UK doctors on strike targeted with Aussie job billboards
Mobile billboards advertising Australian medical jobs have been following striking UK doctors on the picket line as part of an SA Government-funded campaign.
NHS junior doctors voted to stop work for three days this week — their third strike of the year — as part of a continued campaign for a 35% pay rise.
But UK media quickly noticed mobile billboards around the picket line encouraging the UK doctors to “discover work-life balance” by taking jobs with SA Health.
The “tantalizing images of crystal-clear waters and stunning bush hikes were posted outside St George’s Hospital in London”, the UK Daily Mail reported.
