Doctors relied on YouTube for pandemic PPE training: survey

GPs have shared their frustrations over protective equipment during the first year of COVID-19 with Monash University researchers

Doctors have described turning to YouTube for PPE training and being forced to work without masks, for a survey that captures healthcare workers’ experiences during the early stages of the pandemic.

Researchers from Monash University in Melbourne have asked over 2200 frontline healthcare workers, including GPs, about their experiences obtaining and learning how to use PPE during 2020.
