Doctors’ revolt over hospital working conditions triggers government inquiry
Anger over alleged bullying, thousands of unread scans and inadequate budget allocations have boiled over at a major hospital, where doctors have passed a ‘no-confidence’ motion in its CEO.
Amid media reports that up to 30,000 scans are waiting to be read due to staffing cuts, the medical staff council at Concord Hospital in Sydney voted in support of the no confidence motion in Dr Teresa Anderson (PhD).
