Doctors in SA first to receive AstraZeneca vaccine

The state will start administering the second vax to be approved to front-line workers on Friday and other states will follow

Front-line doctors, health workers, police and aged care residents in east Adelaide will be the first in Australia to receive the AstraZeneca coronavirus vaccine.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison has confirmed the batches that arrived from overseas recently have been tested and given the tick of approval.
