Doctors share their favourite medical bloopers

Doctors have been sharing transcription errors and typos they have encountered in practice, and the results are hilarious.
Dr Elin Roddy, a UK respiratory and general medicine doctor, got the ball rolling when she posted a typo her secretary had made about a patient who was “hovering” (hoovering) when contacted by phone.
That prompted a raft of other puzzling instructions and descriptions, including a frightening bladder syndrome, agreeable uteruses and patients who appear blessed with the gift of immortality.
