Doctors subject to complaints in NSW are being asked to complete self-reflection forms so they can demonstrate they have insight into what happened.

The forms were introduced by the Medical Council of NSW earlier this year as an additional chance for doctors to explain themselves when the initial information they gave in response to a complaint was insufficient.
