Domestic violence: Resources for doctors faced with one of the most confronting issues in medicine

In the past few weeks, we have covered a series of domestic violence cases.

The fact that they have involved doctors as victims and, in a recent tribunal case, as abusers illustrates its capacity to touch all lives.

Back in 2019, AusDoc put together a special report investigating some of the most physically and mentally damaging issues, such as reproductive coercion and non-lethal strangulation, the latter now regarded as a red flag for someone at high risk of being killed.
