The sister of Dr Ash Gordon, who died after an alleged violent burglary, has remembered her brother as cheeky but incredibly hardworking, saying his family will always be proud of his achievements.

Dr Gordon, 33, was the first person in his rural family to attend university, gaining his MBBS in 2015.

“He was contemplating different fields, like cardiology and reconstructive plastic surgery, before he finally decided that general practice was super important to give patients that critical first point of care,” Natalie Gordon said.

“He wanted to be an awesome GP and ensure that his patients were getting the absolute best care that they could.
