Dr Charlie Teo has dismissed as “inaccurate”, “sensationalist” and “biased” a newspaper investigation accusing him of narcissism, inappropriate behaviour and allegedly charging exorbitant fees.
The Sydney Morning Herald and the Age claim they interviewed “14 neurosurgeons and related specialists” as part of its report on the life of the Sydney doctor, although none are named.
The newspapers say the sources raised “serious questions” about Dr Teo’s judgement, behaviour and the “exorbitant fees” he has allegedly charged.
